On May 13, 2006, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Asian and Pacific Islander Chicagoans will convene at Gerber/Hart Library, 1127 W. Granville, at 1:00 p.m. for a panel discussion titled, "Perspectives on LGBTQ Asian Pacific Islander America," organized by Invisible to Invincible (i2i), Chicago 's new LGBT API community organization.

The moderated panel will include LGBT API leaders/academics/activists:
Karl Kimpo, who runs the Asian/Pacific Islander HIV Capacity Building Assistance Program for the Asian Health Coalition of Illinois, Rev. and Green Party Candidate for Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rodriguez-Schlorff, and Myron Dean Quon, Esq., former deputy regional director of Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund and adjunct lecturer at Northwestern University. Free and open to the community. Refreshments will be served.
