5TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER/FUNDRAISER, CELEBRATING FIVE, August 28th. See home page to purchase tickets. We will premiere a new video "Once We Were Invisible" which explores the story of i2i. Food is from the kitchens of Thai Pastry. i2i welcomes NQAPIA (National Queer API Alliance) to Chicago for their Summit and this celebratory event. Our very own Lola Lai Jong will be honored as a Catalyst recipient. All are welcome. Public event.

WILL will host a big fun dance party, possibly in a loft or a club. Need a catchy name for this event. How about THEY CAME ONLY
TO DANCE. Will has access to a DJ friend. This will be a big public event open to all. Great potential for bringing in new i2i members. Looking for co-presenter. A very public event!
N O V E M B E R --
LIZ will spearhead SAFE ZONES. This is a program she's developing for UIC which is geared for a straight audience interested in becoming allies to the LGBT community. Will be free and held at UIC, bringing together a bigger public audience of i2i people and the young student population. Great opportunity to network with
straight allies and potential new i2i members from UIC.

I LI will host the popular i2i Winter Social at the Fairy Castle. Details to be determined. Need a name, maybe a theme for event.
J A N U A R Y 2 0 1 1 --
I LI will spearhead a unique program looking at Chinese history in terms of its interaction with its LGBT community. Need a catchy name for event. Looking for co-presenter. Public event.
F E B R U A R Y --
DWIGHT will spearhead THE STORY OF MY HEART
(Part 2). This is a popular event in which individuals are invited to tell of someone they have loved romantically... and what they learned. Do queer APIs love differently?
Last time a private event, this may be an event open to the public. Maybe at a coffeehouse, library, Center on Halsted, etc. Looking for co-presenter.
